Hikers in different parts of the world have reported finding random staircases deep in the forest. Some look ancient and covered in moss, others seem newly built with no sign of who put them there. Locals in some places say they have always been there, but no one knows why.
My Take: A staircase with no building, no destination, no history. Either people are playing some elaborate prank, or there is something old and forgotten hiding in the woods. Maybe these stairs once belonged to lost structures, or maybe they are markers for something we are not supposed to understand.
