A scuba diver in Israel found an ancient sword covered in marine life, lying on the ocean floor. It was later confirmed to be a Crusader-era weapon, over 1000 years old. The fact that it was still intact after all this time made it an incredible discovery.
My Take: There is something so cool about pulling a sword out of the ocean and realizing it belonged to a knight a thousand years ago. Feels like the beginning of a fantasy novel.
