The game lasted only five moves before the master stared at the board in shock and resigned. When reporters tried to find out who the old man was, he had already left. His name was not recorded, and no one knew where he had come from.
My Take: Some knowledge seems to exist beyond time, passed down through unknown means. Maybe he was a forgotten genius, or maybe he had played that game before, in another lifetime.
