A blind man with an old stringed instrument sat on a street corner in Tokyo and played a song so haunting and beautiful that a crowd gathered around him. When someone asked what the song was called, he simply smiled and said, It is not from here. When they looked away for just a second, he was gone. No one ever saw him again, and no one could find another version of the song anywhere.
My Take: Music can hold memories older than time. Maybe he was a traveler from another era, playing a song that had been forgotten. Or maybe he was never really there, just a melody passing through.
