The River That Turned Blood Red

 A river in China suddenly turned a deep red overnight. Environmental experts tested the water but found no industrial pollution, no algae bloom, nothing that could explain the sudden change. The color faded after a few days, and the mystery was left unsolved.

My Take: Rivers do not just decide to change color on their own. Maybe it was something natural we have not identified yet, or maybe it was something else entirely. Either way, it is unsettling to think about.
